Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come to school every day ready to learn. They are eager to try new things and welcome new ideas. They work hard and always try their best!
My students are a diverse and enthusiastic group of second graders.
Many of them speak English as a second language, but they do not let this hold them back. You can even say that this is what pushes them to work even harder. They are responsible, respectful, peaceful and problem solvers. In addition to having motivated students, my school also has incredible teachers and wonderful staff members which together create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all.
My Project
My students need an EUG Wireless LCD Projector to help advance their learning through technology. The only technology my students have in our classroom is three out-dated computers, which choose to work when they want to... With a projector in the classroom, I will be able to advance my students learning through technology by giving them the visual aides they need to build up their vocabulary skills. Because many of my students speak English as a second language, their vocabulary skills are limited. The projector will also allow them to watch videos that will help them learn new concepts and language as well as ideas.
A projector in our classroom will help advance my students' learning to the next level.
It will provide them with the resources they need to become successful learners. Children are our future, so they deserve the best to help them become the best and this is a start.
