My students need a printer because it allows me to print off material in my classroom instead of going to the copy room. We also need an Illuminated World Globe to show landforms, countries, and distances.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Wares Ferry Road is a special place. I began my internship here and was offered a job when I graduated. My students are special because they are self-motivated and eager to learn. They come from many different backgrounds but in this class, we unify as ONE.

The surrounding neighborhoods are a community of parents that are not very present in the school surrounding.

Nevertheless, the students are well behaved and are proficient in doing the skills that are required. I have been here over 15 years and it's always great to see my students come back to give me success stories.

My Project

The HP Envy Photo Printer will allow me to stay in my classroom without missing instructional time to print out any sheets from the copy room. This printer will make a difference in my students' learning because it gives them quick access to information.

I also would like an Illuminated World Globe because during Social Studies time, I'm able to show my students landforms and countries and the distance from one country to another.

This globe will improve my students' lives because it allows them to see the world and expose them to other countries. It will enhance the learning in my classroom.
