This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are avid learners and super hard workers. They love being hands-on with their learning and collaborating with their peers while working. We are striving for achievement in my class with our reading and math skills. All my students have goals for their learning this year and I am so lucky to be a part of leading them through it. Any donations to our classroom would be much be appreciated and so deserved by these wonderful kids.

My Project

These materials will provide a home for a classroom pet. My students have been super interested in getting a classroom pet and all voted on an Axolotl. We are doing lots of research and want to do tons more once we have a pet to observe and learn with. The students love any chance they get to participate in science activities and unfortunately do not get enough chances to experience hands on. Having a classroom pet with all the needed supplies will allow them the hands on experience they deserve!
