This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
This project is to finish getting my classroom together. As a new teacher, figuring out and obtaining all the necessary items for my class has been challenging. This project will be to finish getting the necessary items now that I know my classroom environment and my students. These items will allow for better rotation in small group rotation. Bookcases and carpets are for our classroom library to increase my student's literacy. The storage cart will be used to store materials necessary for day-to-day functioning such as crayons, markers, pencils, scissors, glue, etc. Our school is a Title I school therefore a lot of my students do not have the basic necessities for school.
