My Project

Classroom Organization Tools is a project that is dedicated to elevating the educational experience of our students by acquiring essential classroom organization tools. These tools are fundamental to creating an environment that maximizes learning potential and ensures that every student receives the support they need while increasing student independence. I am seeking funding through DonorsChoose to acquire crucial classroom organization tools, including student binders, individual pencil holders, a digital clock, a classroom organization stackable for student papers and assignments, and a Chromebook charging chart for student storage within the classroom.

These organization tools will provide a more structured and efficient space for both teachers and students and address the current challenges in our self-contained special education classroom setting.

The introduction of these classroom organization tools will directly impact student learning by 1) reducing clutter and distractions in the learning environment, 2) allowing for quick and easy access to learning materials, 3) fostering a sense of order and structure, positively influencing student behavior, and 4) empowering students to manage resources effectively and optimize independence within the classroom environment.

Our students are diverse, resilient, and eager to learn. Many face challenges that go beyond the classroom, and by addressing our organizational needs, we aim to create a supportive space that accommodates their unique requirements. These tools will contribute to an inclusive and adaptable learning environment.
