My Students

I am an Inclusion Combo Class teacher consisting of 23 wonderful 1st and 2nd graders. We are known as the STEAM Theme Team.

One of our most recent endeavors was to research and develop an Antarctica Base Camp Project.

To complete the tasks, students used technology and reading to do their research, math for budgeting, art and design for building the base and advertising.

My class loves to read and therefore, I sent home two classroom set of novels so that we could continue our language art lessons remotely!

My Project

For language arts, I enjoy sharing various genres of books with my students for our read alongs. I am asking for these materials because I sent home my student whiteboards and books during this year's distance learning. I Zoom daily with my students and each day we are either reading a chapter or completing the comprehension and vocabulary activities. Both books, "The Chocolate Touch" and "The Cricket in Times Square" have wonderful Novel Studies that go along with them.

My goal is to replace the materials I sent home with new ones ready for my incoming students this August.
