This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a classroom full of little movers and shakers! I want to give those movers and shakers an opportunity to get those wiggles out in a quiet, non-disruptive way. The fidget bands would provide a way for them to move their legs during lessons without kicking chairs or tapping feet and distracting those around them.

Some of my students need some extra motivation to do their best.

Giving them clipboards so they can move around the room, and individual timers so they know how much time they have to complete an assignment is one way that I can motivate them to do their very best during those independent work sessions.

My school provided reusable water bottles for students at the beginning of the year, but at this point, a lot of those bottles are either lost or broken. Since we are still in a pandemic, things like using a water fountain are still prohibited. I need something for my students to be able to drink water during the day.
