This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I believe in providing my students with a very organized and structured environment. I want them to have the best available options to be successful. When they come to school, I want them to feel safe and secure in an environment that is conducive to learning.

Some of my students plan on coming to school daily for that safe and caring feeling that they know everything will be alright.

They know that school is a place of learning in a safe environment.

Because of the current situation in which many of my students live in, they do not always have the materials needed to be successful. This is why I am asking your support.

My Project

As our school year is about halfway through, we are in need of some materials to keep our year moving and successful.

I am requesting crayons, pencil boxes, pencils and pencil cap erasers.

These are items that we use on a daily basis within our classroom to complete multiple tasks throughout the day. We use our pencils to show our work, and our pencil cap erasers to erase and learn from our mistakes. We use our pencil boxes to keep our crayons, pencils and pencil cap erasers all in a safe place during our daily classroom switches. We use the crayons to complete hands on activities in math, science and social studies. Thank you for all your support.
