My students need headphones, iPad cases, and iPad screen protectors. We also will be using the Math wipe boards throughout Kindergarten for Addition and Subtraction. My students asked for magnetic picture cards and alphabet carpet squares!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a 3rd-year Kindergarten teacher. I expect to have a class of twenty-five wonderful students who come from low-income and minority neighborhoods this 2017/2018 school year. The students will come to school every day ready to learn and it is my job to prepare them for success as well as real-world experiences. It is so exciting and rewarding to work at this school where I can teach these young minds full of passion and desire to learn. Our teachers pride themselves on getting the students "to and through college!"
My Project
My students need headphones and a case for their iPads. We want to be able to really utilize the technology we have in our classroom. There are a lot of things I can do to have great success with technology in my classroom.
My students also need an easel to bring out their inner artist.
An easel will give the students variety in their art center as well as show their creative abilities.
My students are requesting alphabet carpet squares to sit on during circle time. They want to have individual spots as well as play phonics games using the squares.
