My Students

The students in my class are in a Spanish magnet program. They are English speaking students that feel learning Spanish is important so they have decided to start learning Spanish before it is required in the upper grades. Learning a second language at such a young age gives them many advantages in life.

Our classroom can be a little stressful since we have to fit in required curriculum as well as the Spanish lessons.

This does not give the class much time for the more enjoyable things like art and technology time. So whenever we do get to fit it in, they love doing projects on the computers and doing art projects.

My Project

My students are fortunate enough to have many opportunities for learning outside of the classroom and catching these memories on camera is always difficult to achieve.

With this camera, I would be able to capture and share special moments with my students and their families after the fact.

Not only will it be fun for them to relive these experiences, we will also be able to use it in the classroom.

We will also use it to take close up pictures of science experiments, like when we dissect owl pellets! We could use the pictures to view all the cool bones and pieces that the owl ate. We could also use it to capture photos for our classroom and school yearbook.
