My second grade students are lovable, energetic children who are always eager to learn new things. They look forward to school each day because they are provided with inquiry-based learning. Creating projects and learning new things are a part of our everyday learning experience.
Our school has a K through eighth grade student body.
Our goal is to provide the most enriching, challenging education possible for all of our students. Our beautiful classroom is a warm, caring environment, conducive to all types of wonderful learning experiences.
My Project
The materials requested for this project will be used for students to create projects and for engagement strategies. The dry erase markers will be used for students to use with their dry erase boards when they participate in guided practice lessons. The cardstock and colored paper will be used to create art projects such as penguins, and characters from Wizard of Oz. Also, the paper will be utilized as students create STEM projects. Students will make oral presentations once the projects and tasks have been completed. Our learning is moving towards a transdisciplinary approach which makes learning more relevant and authentic!
