My Students
I teach students in an urban community. Our school population includes 90% second language learners. Each day my students come in eager to learn. The curriculum we provide our students needs to support their language, so they can be successful and proud of their education.
My students thrive on being held to high expectations and setting their own goals.
I want them to make connections within their life and their learning. My school is a Title I school where 100% of the students receive free lunch.
My Project
My students are mostly EL learners we spend a lot of time creating anchor charts so that students can refer back to the important concepts that we have learned. Having these charts are important to their learning being able to keep them in an organized location would befit them. My students also use their lapboards in class for most of their subjects, so having erasers for them to use will save a lot of time when going from one problem to the next.
Having these classroom materials will make my students able to do more work in class and help keep the anchor charts they need safe and in a convenient location.
