My Students

My third-grade students are rock stars. They come to school with ambition and an eagerness to learn. They are a sweet, funny, kind and caring group. They light up my day with their beautiful personalities. I am blessed to be their teacher.

Our school is a Title I school servicing many students with high needs.

We are a part of an amazing community that will pull together to do the best they can for our students. However, sometimes modern learning can be a financial burden, too great to supply all our wants.

My Project

I am hoping to do a complete classroom makeover. We spend a lot of time together in our room. I want to make it a comfortable, welcoming environment. Students should feel welcomed when they come to school.

Many students come from extreme poverty.

Several classrooms don't have things most would consider "nice." I want them to remember it being magical when they come back to school. I want them to have as many positive memories as possible about their third-grade year in school.

The materials in this project would do an amazing job of sprucing up our boring walls!
