Help me give my students a classroom library they can be excited about. We need book bins to place books in the proper categories so students can easily locate the book they want. My students need an inviting space to call their own!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
All the way from Philadelphia, PA! My 4th graders are a group of eager learners ready for new adventures! 30 individuals who are charismatic, fantastic, and full of life are just a few ways to describe my students. Small school setting for students coming from low income households who qualify for the free lunch program.
I am beyond excited for their learning, and personally strive to make learning enjoyable!
My goal in my classroom is to provide students both academically and socially with skills for them to be a success in and out the classroom. Students are ready and willing to learn when the learning environment is made enjoyable.
My Project
A classroom Library for students will be a great adventure. Our school currently does not have a Librarian due to budget cuts and many don't have a local library they can frequent. Providing students with a classroom library and materials will help engage them in reading. A love for reading is the most amazing thing you can expose young learners to.
School is one of many places where students should be eager to read and learn.
By having a learning library students will be able to access the world around them. An organized classroom library will open the world to many things!
