There are a lot of problems in the School District of Philadelphia currently. People seem to worry about all the politics and not what is most important, the students. I want to provide my students with the best, and I do not have the funds to make this possible on my own.
The students in my classroom deserve a chance to learn in a safe environment filled with positive experiences in order to thrive and improve in their learning.
Reading is a key skill that is needed in every day life and the students deserve books that they would love to read.
My Project
Reading is the most important skill that all children need to exceed in school and in life. If they had interesting reading material it would make it a lot easier for them to become engaged. I still have memories of reading good books in school and developed a life long love for reading and I believe that my students deserve to have that opportunity as well. My students need a classroom library of leveled books to read during independent reading time.
Please help me to provide a library for all of my students!
It is so important for me to start on a positive note with my students by showing them that I care enough about them by providing them with an array of books in the beginning of the school year!
