My students live in a very rural and high poverty area in southern Ohio. They have very limited resources available to them, and they deserve so much more.
Through Donors Choose, I hope to provide my students with resources they may not have access to because of funding.

My Project
This project will provide my students with access to various examples of fiction and nonfiction literature in the classroom. While we have a wonderful public library at our disposal, students do not always have transportation to check books out from the local library.
Providing students with access to current and high interest literature and nonfiction will help them become well rounded individuals.
As a third grade teacher, I want to make sure all of my students have a love of reading. In order to achieve this, I need to provide them with literature and nonfiction that is high interest and appropriate for their reading needs.
