Hello! I am a first year 4th grade teacher at a Chicago public school. I am asking for your help with creating a classroom library that works. I would like to make our classroom library a cozy, welcoming space where my students can read and express themselves as readers. I want them to feel comfortable visiting the library so they can continue to want to visit it. I want it to be a gathering spot where my students can share their thoughts on a book they are reading. I am asking for a carpet and two bean bag chairs for our classroom library. The classroom does not have any carpeting, so I feel these items will help to build a warm and cozy area for my students to enjoy. This gift will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
