Our classroom community includes 20 enthusiastic first graders who live in a college town in central Pennsylvania. They are joyful, engaged learners who love to read!
Our community of first grade readers needs book storage to organize and display a variety of diverse and engaging books.
We have a community of readers with broad needs and interests. It is my passion to cultivate a love of reading by matching kids with high interest, good-fit books that they are excited to read!
Our first graders have the most success with reading when they have abundant choice, can easily find high-interest books, and when they feel confident about selecting books from our library. Better storage will allow us to display books by topic, author, and genre to help my students navigate the library more easily.
I am passionate about creating a community of readers by fostering a life-long love of books! In our classroom, we are lucky to have accumulated a large selection of diverse texts to meet all of our students' needs, but we still need a way to organize our books so that our library is easy for little ones to navigate. We would love to have several bookcases on which we can organize and label collections of books for students to enjoy.
Please help my students create a classroom library that is easy to navigate and will withstand use in our first grade classroom.
Help us get interested in books, discover new genres, and develop excitement for reading!
