My students are kindergarten - 4th graders who love to work with technology. This will be the first year they will have a technology class! We are a Title I school and more than half of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Some students in our district do not have access to computers at home.
It's important to introduce students to technology at an early age so that they can be prepared for the future.
Many future jobs will require the use of technology.
My Project
With a previous project I was overfunded! I am going to extend on the technology classroom library and would like a classroom microphone/speaker system so that my voice can be heard around the classroom.
I teach many students who are hard of hearing, and my students need to be able to hear me as I teach.
Very few teachers have microphones in their own classrooms. I will be traveling to other classrooms and would like my own personal system so that each and every student won't miss out on directions. I will also use the rest of the funds for more books for my new technology classroom library.
