Classroom Learning Rug
My students need a classroom rug that will create an organized setting for them to discover more and more each day.
My classroom rug is the most used area of the classroom every day! It is old, stained, and ripped. It is also too small to accommodate all of my students comfortably. A new colored classroom alphabet rug with space for twenty students will provide a clean and organized area for my students.
I teach first grade and the majority of our whole group instruction time is spent sitting on our classroom rug.
At the start of each school year I welcome a brand new group of excited first graders to my classroom. This year I would love to welcome them with a nice, new, colorful rug.
We need a new classroom alphabet rug with individual sitting squares for rug time. I have selected an Alphabet Activity Carpet - 9' x 12.' An alphabet rug will allow kids to explore the alphabet from beginning to end, practice letter recognition and letter-sound association, or just sit on their favorite letters! It is amazing what an alphabet rug with colored rows and individual boxes can do for a class! Especially with first graders who are growing and still exploring the space around them. This rug will give them personal space and structure. This helps encourage students to work together and strengthens social skills.
An alphabet rug will create an organized setting for them to discover more and more each day.
By having a clean and organized place to sit while they learn, they will be able to focus on learning!
