Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from a major inner-city district and usually do not have many resources at hand, but are always wanting to learn more about the cultures of others. They come from challenging backgrounds and fight hard to overcome these challenges.

My students are always thankful for those helping with their education.

Being in an inner-city has its challenges and outside help for their schooling is a great way to show my students that they are not forgotten and people want them to be successful in their lives.

My Project

Projects, editing papers, making more copies of classroom materials are just a few examples of the ways a laptop can help a teacher and classroom. I am also adding to existing Chromebooks that are in the classroom to ensure a classroom set. Chromebooks can be used for reading, research and helping others.

Technology is here and completing my classroom Chromebook set is needed!

Students need different ways to learn and having the ability to have hard copied lessons and work online are ways to merge the two. In the days of having students collaborating, Chromebooks are a great way to help achieve this.
