My Project

Having a new computer will give me more range in lesson planning more interactive ideas and editing projects that my students will be a part of. This will be a laptop that is used for and by the students in the classroom for interactive projects and other project-based learning activities. Many of my students have expressed that they want to become editors, vloggers, and have more social media-driven careers. Having this equipment readily available to my students will help us do some project-based learning activities that they can share virtually, and will give them the practice they need to create content.

In teaching students with disabilities, differentiation is needed for academic success, and offering my students an opportunity to learn how to use technology that is a part of their future will help them become productive citizens.

Interests and creativity are ways that we can engage students in order to help them realize their true potential. If I had technology at home that would enable me to create videos, songs, and other interactive resources, it would help my students' remote learning experience be that much more rewarding. This Lenovo laptop will help shift the culture of my classroom environment.
