I have been teaching for 15 years. I have always wanted to help students become better readers and to understand math. I enjoying working with my students, and I am here to help them grow on becoming lifelong learners. Since I began teaching, I have worked with low poverty, academically struggling students. I wouldn't want any other job because these kids make my job rewarding. I feel they want to be here once they see the passion I have to teach them and how I care about their future.
I want to support my students with their academic goals by supplying them with the resources I know will help.
My school has struggling learners in reading and math, some of them are from low-income/poverty homes. They are a good group of students that come to school to learn, and they want to be here because of the things that schools can offer that they can't get at home.
I hope that by supplying my classroom with more resources will help make a difference in how the students are able to learn.
My Project
With the items requested, it will help students be successful this year. The document camera will helps guide students with hands on activities with the updated technology from last year. The easel will help build the classroom community with carpet time. An electric pencil sharpener allows students to increase their speed on new writing skills.
Adding new products and enhancing the technology to the classroom allows the students to grow with learning!
