My Students

My students are part of my AMAZING first-grade classroom, located in an urban school district. Many of my students are unique learners who require individual supports to reach their fullest academic, social, and behavioral potential. I currently have twenty students in my classroom!

My students are very important to me and my goal is to provide them with the tools they need to be successful learners.

My students are very diverse and come from a variety of backgrounds who do not all have access to technology at home.

My Project

My students respond well to technology and with technology being such a huge part of our daily lives, I am working to teach them ways to use technology to benefit their education! We have many apps and games that enhance the curriculum we work on. Our brand new STMath program is 100% computer based. Every one of my students needs to complete three Log-ins and about 60 minutes per week. Currently i have 3 iPads and 22 students. Having another iPad would allow me to have more children logged on in a center at one time which would allow for us to reach our 60 minute goal per week at a faster and more efficient rate!
