My students are extremely special and wonderful, as is our school! We have a tight-knit community that works together to help our students become well-rounded individuals. Our school is extremely low funded by the state due to living in a rural area. We have to work hard at fundraising every year in order to keep our amazing programs going strong, such as life lab, computer lab, library, music, and art.
This year I have incorporated using the educational app "Seesaw" on our classroom iPads and it is a GREAT hit!
The students and I love how they can show their parents so much of their learning and projects in the classroom on a daily basis through this digital online portfolio!
My Project
My students have started using the awesome educational app, Seesaw, daily in our classroom. This app is a digital online portfolio that involves parents and allows them to see into our daily lives in the classroom! By having a charging station, my students will have easy access to the iPads. We also need protective "kid-proof" cases so that our iPads stay safe.
By donating to this project, my students will be able to easily access our classroom iPads, keep them safe in a "kid-proof" case, and increase their educational independence by adding new learning to their personal digital portfolios!
I have seen such excitement grow in our classroom with the use of our new digital portfolios. Students are eager to show their parents all they can do on a daily basis in our classroom!
