My students are very kind, caring and energetic! Laughing is encouraged in my classroom and I like to think that they genuinely believe that learning is fun.
We are designated as a Title I campus, which means my students come from economically disadvantaged homes.
Additionally, my students are also Bilingual (Spanish) and are in the process of learning a new language.Although our campus was affected by Hurricane Harvey, we were fortunate to have only experienced minimal damage.
Despite this and other obstacles, my students still look forward to coming to school every day. I would like to take advantage of their eagerness and curiosity to explore the wonderful world of reading.
Every student deserves a nice and cozy reading rug to sit and listen while their teacher reads to them.
Classroom rugs help promote a nurturing environment where students look forward to curling up with a good book to read!
A classroom rug is beneficial to students because it helps them remain focused and engaged for longer periods of time as they are more comfortable reading on it than on a bare floor. Additionally, a rug helps create an inviting environment where students feel welcomed and eager to learn. Thank you in advance for your contribution and support in helping me bring my vision to life!
