My Students

I have 120 students that I see daily. I teach four rotations of ELA (Reading and Writing). My students are energetic and love engaging discussions in any subject. They have a passion for technology inside the classroom. We have access to Chromebooks but at this time the students are not able to listen to anything on the computers.

The use of headphones will allow the students to engage in differentiated lessons in reading as well as other subjects.

My mission is to help all my students become life long readers. Students in my class love reading graphic novels.

My Project

The use of headphones will allow my students to listen to books and text on audio. They can use this for reading and writing assignments. Some of my students struggle with reading and this will give them the opportunity to hear the text at the same time they are reading.

Students can use these headphones to listen to books audably as well as do interactive activities on Chrombooks.

They can do reading and writing activities as well as work for the other classes. My classess would be extremly excited to have the additional technology in the classroom. The books available to listen to online allow the students more choices.
