My learners are a diverse group of students curious about the world around them. We are an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program public school where 71% of students qualify for free and reduced cost lunch. Students lead the learning with inquiry based units. They learn through the lens of the Learner Profiles of: principled, thinker, balanced, open minded, communicator, knowledgeable, reflective, inquirer, risk-taker, and caring.

My students learn in a collaborative model creating a culture and climate of empathy and fun. Most of their day is spent in groups sharing ideas and knowledge supporting each learner. Nothing makes me happier than to step back and watch students be the agents of their own learning.
My Project
Our classroom recently received 10 Chromebooks! Thanks to this technology, students are able to receive instruction that meets their needs in an incredibly engaging way that's relevant to their 21st century lives.
If we are able to get these headphones and headphone splitters for our classroom, more students will be able to enjoy and better learn from the educational videos, lessons, and audiobooks that are available online.
Students can use the requested splitters to learn alongside a partner, allowing more students to benefit from this technology. These headphones and splitters will allow more students to further their learning on a daily basis.
