My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They are very inquisitive and enjoy discovering ideas for themselves.

The students at our school come from many different backgrounds, and they all strive to do their best.

The school is located close to the largest military base in the United States. Not only do we support many military families but we are also a Title I school.

My Project

With wobble stools for chairs, my students will be able to focus longer, while builder stronger bodies! Each of them will be able to have their bodies feel less fatigued, their brains more engaged and their core muscles strengthened during small group instruction. Research has shown that these are great for students who are traditionally challenged to stay focused.

With wobble stools, there will be improvements in focus and stamina, and at the same time strengthened cores!

It is a win-win-win! The students are going to enjoy wobbling while they work instead of experiencing the discomfort from the hard stationary chairs.
