My first grade students are excited and eager for this year's learning challenges. Our diversity makes our classroom whole and complete, as we each can bring our own personal experiences and perspectives to create well-rounded conversations and projects.
They strive to be the best and greatest at everything they do.
With this year's goals and projects in mind, we need some items that can really help make our year even greater!
We live in San Antonio, Texas and we attend a small public charter STEM school campus of around 200 students. We come from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities, including Hispanic Americans, African Americans, and Indian Americans to name a few. Since our campus is quite small, and we are a charter school, we are often underserved in many respects. Please consider helping out in any way that you can! It will be put to great use, and greatly appreciated by my 5 and 6 year olds!
My Project
We are requesting a coat and backpack hook shelf to store our daily belongings. We currently use command hooks and they are already falling off of the wall. We have jackets and lunchboxes on the floor, due to lack of storage, so this will help us tremendously.
My students are over the moon to do a dinosaur dig!
The headphones we are requesting are just so we have a couple of pairs to use with our istation math and reading programs. We are also requesting a speaker to connect to the teachers computer so that we can properly hear instructional videos.
There are other odds and ends requested to help us keep our classroom creative and cohesive. We are excited to soar through our goals this year.
