Our middle school students are eager to learn and interact with technology. My students are excited to use technology when completing assignments. They have inspired me with their mindset that nothing is impossible. Through project-based learning in geography, history, and math, I have seen my students collaborate with their peers to solve real-world problems. In addition, they have taken new knowledge and applied it to their research.
They are a creative group of students who are thrilled to learn, create, build, construct, and present their ideas to the world.
My Project
My class needs supplies such as colored pencils, markers, and construction paper for project based learning in social studies. Students will use these materials to created projects for geography and early U.S. History. Students will research, design, and create landmarks, maps, posters, and reports throughout the semester. Projects will be posted in the classroom and during exhibit night for parents and the community to view.
