My students need the printer, a teaching easel, Post It anchor chart paper bundle, crayons, markers , Prepaid Ink Cards and much more for our classroom.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 30 students that are in 6th grade and are from Saginaw, MI. They are full of energy and life experience at their young age.
In our classroom we are building a community of life-long learners that have a passion for learning daily.
I am wanting to set my students up for success in a community where it is hard to focus on success sometimes. My students are enthusiastic about learning in different ways, which I try to provide them with new ways each day.
My Project
My students will be able to use the easel in order to play games, work in a small group with the teacher and to create anchor charts.
The classroom supplies of Crayola markers and colored pencils are to help students be creative with our interactive notebooks and projects.
Interactive notebooks are essential for today's learners and will help them to learn in a different way than just taking regular notes. As a teacher, it is important to have access to a printer in the classroom that will not go out like the school copier. This will help me to have work materials ready on demand for the students.
