My Students
I teach curious scientists, creative writers, avid readers, clever mathematicians, and accurate historians. These learners come together from diverse cultural and social backgrounds to form our classroom community. Over half of the students in my class speak English as their second language.
As a first-year teacher, I endeavor to provide the best learning environment for my students.
They deserve to step into my classroom having basic materials in a safe and comfortable environment so that they can be successful to reach their learning goals.
My Project
The organization cart will provide a central location to store math manipulatives, station work, and other materials my class will need access to on a daily basis. The book rack will display books that go along with certain units we are studying or holidays we are celebrating throughout the year. Displaying books on a rack will allow students to easily access books they might not have noticed if they were just stored on a bookshelf among other books.
These materials are a continuation of a previous project for classroom essentials and will provide the organization necessary for a classroom that runs smoothly.
