This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative amazing individuals. They work hard to accomplish their goals. Many of them have jobs to supplement income for their families due to need. This makes it difficult to do class work outside of school. This also means they have limited funds to have the supplies needed to be successful. These additional calculators and general supplies means they will have a more equitable classroom that provides what they need for success. The Facial tissues and games will provide a welcoming room to help them feel at ease and part of a team so they can focus on what is important in this class: to succeed in mathematics!
