My Project

Aloha! I am so grateful to be starting in a first grade class room this year. I truly believe I was born to be a teacher. As you know, teaching is so much more than curriculum and standards and I am committed to providing my students with a whole child approach to learning and living!

My number one goal to make sure each individual student feels SAFE, VALUED and HEARD every single day that they spend in my classroom.

As such, I never want them to feel like they do not have what they need to succeed and thrive as learners. I am asking for help providing the essentials that all first year teachers need in their classrooms for them and their students.

Some of the items that I am requesting include: floor cushions to foster a welcoming and warm morning meeting circle time; a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to supplement curriculum delivery with fun and engaging activities; basic classroom supplies such as magnets to hang up student work around the room; and learning activities for STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Math) centers.
