My Project

In second grade we learn about money with a real world emphasis. During our money unit and throughout the remainder of the year, students can earn and save money to use in our classroom store. Here they can purchase supplies like dry erase markers or they may purchase some of their favorite toys like, LEGOs, fidgets, squishmellows, and whoopie cushions. This project is a great way for my students to understand the value of money. The will have to know how to make change. They will learn about scarcity as well as opportunity cost.
