This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The majority of my students come from low-income families. Some do not have access to a lot of resources to be able to use and learn in the classroom.
They are energetic learners who love to be involved in the school setting.
They are very eager to learn new things every day. I want my students to be able to have hands-on learning in the classroom and be able to use materials to help them be creative and problem solve.
My Project
I am in need of a big classroom easel for my classroom. We will have a new reading program this year called ARC Core. With this new reading program, we will be doing a lot of writing on chart paper and on the dry erase board. With this easel, it will be easy for all my firsties to be able to view and read the messages on the board. They will even be able to come up to the board and write on it as well. This will be a great asset to the classroom. The easel will also come with storage at the bottom so my kids can access their supplies.
