My Students

My students are hardworking first graders, who come to school full of energy and are eager to learn! They are self-motivated and strive to be successful students. My first graders are passionate about learning and get excited when they see new materials that they get to interact with. Unfortunately, we do not always have access to all of the materials and tools that we need.

All of my students love school and have the ability to be successful, and with the proper materials, I know they will exceed all expectations!

My Project

Having a reading/writing center easel in the classroom will have a great impact on student learning. The easel will be used to create anchor charts for all subject areas that the students will reference on a daily basis. Students will be able to help me create these anchor/reference charts every day when starting a new lesson.

The easel will benefit all students, allowing them to see, interact and participate during whole group instruction!

The easel also has storage for manipulates and books that are used during whole group instruction. The easel will allow us to keep all materials organized and readily available.
