Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

We are a Title I school in Washington, D.C. We don't get much funding for the students, and it can sometimes affect our students' learning.

My students are super excited to learn new things and be exposed to new experiences.

I truly love how my students are developing cognitively in the classroom with what little materials we have to work with. They are always eager to learn and grateful for what they are presented while learning.

My students are striving to be 4th grade ready next year, which I love because each and every day they show me that they can obtain whatever lessons, problems, ​and activities I throw at them.

My Project

Please give my students magnetic hooks to showcase their work around the classroom, tissue for the flu and allergy season while in class, sentence strips to help with posting standards, writing sentences for students to have a template of how to write properly. A record keeping book to track student data and progress manually and printer ink for posting and printing visual charts, classwork, and anchor charts for students to master while in class. These items will help carry students through the next quarter as we all need visuals to ease learning.
