Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In first grade, students begin to learn about the value of different coins and how to add coins up to a dollar. They also learn about the basics of economics, like wants and needs, spending and saving, and prodicers and consumers.
These materials will help me set up a basic classroom reward system using coins.
Students will store their coins in the magnetic jars. The stickers will allow me to label each student's storage jar for easy organization. The set of classroom prizes will be available for students the "purchase" using the plastic coins that they earn for great behavior.
The glue will be used for classroom projects throughout the year. Thank you for supporting PBIS in my classroom!
