My students need a classroom computer to start the new school year.
My students are adults in an adult program. They are learning job skills and need to use the Internet to complete job applications.
My students are handicapped adults.
They attend a public day school program. They are learning job skills. My students need to utilize a computer in the classroom for job applications, resumes, and searching the Internet. We are a new program and have no supplies and a very small budget.
I am requesting a classroom computer. My students are in need of basic life skills training and vocational training. My students are handicapped adults who need to learn to live in their world and obtain gainful employment. To do this they must have the necessary tools in their educational program. Our school district's budget requires that we conduct student-run enterprises to fund the bulk of our program needs. This leaves very little left over for our students' use in the community. My students would greatly benefit from this gift.
My students are handicapped adults who need to access available resources in their community.
They need to learn job skills, independent living skills so that they can enjoy a happy, independent or semi-independent life. My students need to gain as much real world experience from their educational program as I can provide. Without at least one classroom computer for my students to utilize, I cannot give them the proper tools to access their community.
