My Project
My students in Special Day Program need opportunities to mainstream with grade-level peers as well as hands-on projects to help reinforce learning. My students would be able to observe the life cycle of earth worms and allow them to recycle food waste into fertilizer.
A classroom composter would enable us to support and mainstream my students with a fifth grade class who is working hard to rebuild a school garden. My students would be so excited to be able to help their grade-level peers to fertilize their garden.
All students need opportunities to see and practice environmental science.
