My Students

My students are very diverse in a diverse community. They bring so much joy to my heart. They are the cutest and the most motivated kids. They see the good and the best in each other and try real hard to be a family. We also are a Title I school and my students struggle to make at home connections but truly blossom at school. They are smart and intelligent and love hands-on learning. My students deserve a comfortable environment to work and play

My Project

My students have started to fall in love with reading. I also have started an after school book club and would love to turn my classroom into a cafe for a interesting reading experience. My students don't get out much so I think a class room transformation would be really cool. I asked for comfortable seating and cafe tables for them to have a corner of the classroom for reading and reading activities. Im super excited for my students to receive these items. Coming from a low income area I think they should have opportunities like other schools in the district with money.
