This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My scholars are eager to learn, ready with open minds. Our school is located in a predominately low-income area yet, we excel each year because of the way we engage our scholars. Through our hard work and dedication, our students will succeed. The teachers and students strive for excellence no matter what their circumstances. As a teacher, I encourage my scholars daily to be the best they can be in all areas. I won't settle for anything less than their best. When we, as educators, expect their best, the scholars are eager to please.

My Project

Our classroom is our safe haven during this time of Covid 19. As an added safety zone, we sometimes eat in the classroom and always have snacks and drinks in the classroom,

The Gantz mini refrigerator and microwave will give us a place to store our snacks and drinks safely in the classroom.

We will be able to heat and reheat items when necessary and not have to worry about germs outside of the classroom.

Having our own private café will bring joy and pride to the students and allow for storing our snacks safely.
