My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
Each day my students walk into my classroom ready to learn and read.
They are each avid readers and are always searching for a new book to dive into.
My Project
These materials will be used to teach students throughout the year. They will read each book during their 4th-grade year and complete assignments and projects over them. I am reaching for a classroom set of each so students can have their own book when they walk into my classroom. I have chosen these books based on students interest! They are going to love them!
The most expensive book is 'Wonder'.
Wonder is a great book to teach empathy and acceptance of each person you meet throughout your life. This book seems very popular with the students!
'My Side of the Mountain' also seemed very popular with the students. Although an older published book, this selection is about a boy who lives in the wild, in a tree, for a year. It's definitely worth the read!
