This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All 100+ students in my class will be participating in Classroom Book clubs this year! Can you imagine storing 100 binders?

My students are first through fourth grade gifted and talented students.

This year students will be participating in Classroom Book Clubs. As part of this they will be expected to maintain a binder with notes, vocabulary, questions, and projects. Each of the students will need a binder, filler paper and place to store it!

My Project

We are asking for shelving to store the binders, a binder for each student and filler paper for them to do their work on. These Classroom Book Clubs will not only foster reading in these students, it will help them work collaboratively as they read, create projects, and share their projects with the class. These projects can span the curriculum - technology, writing, art, drama.
