My Students
Do you have a favorite book? Is reading an escape for you? My students are passionate and full of curiosity. They love hands on engaging projects. We are participating in "Classroom Book a Day", and I need more books to help us achieve this goal. My team comes to school each day, eager to learn and they are super excited about our book every day program. We take engaging picture books to a new level and do a variety of creative activities with them. There is a buzz about books in my room, an excitement for reading and a growing desire to be life long readers.
My Project
These books will allow my team to enhance their love for reading. They will learn through engaging stories that teach life long lessons. These books will help enrich the reading content in my room and also build our sense of family. They will bring our team together daily to prompt amazing discussions and also provide a stepping stone to deeper understanding of text and life lessons.
Books bring an awareness to my team and a unique perspective, that I cannot provide by myself. They make us laugh, cry, get angry and also make us aware of things that are happening around us every day. They challenge us to make a difference and to become aware of something other than ourselves.
