Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have the privilege of teaching a truly gifted group of 2nd through 6th graders. They have already established a love for learning with technology and hands-on activities. My mission is to challenge their thinking and create a collaborative group of scholars who can solve tomorrow's issues.

My students are extremely motivated and creative, but sometimes lack basic hands-on materials to enrich their learning.

We are a Title I school in the inner city of Miami. We have a very diverse population and students come to school with many challenges. I want them to feel pride in themselves and their classrooms. Please help me give my students the tools needed to excel.

My Project

My students love to be creative and show off their amazing work. Please help me provide them with Inkjoy Colored Pens and Elmers glue.

We do a great deal of hands-on projects that require these items, as well as cardstock paper and pencils.

We don't always have the supplies that we need. These basic supplies are crucial to igniting the creativity of my students and allowing them to be creative. We would be so grateful for these basic supplies that would make a huge difference in our classroom.

These materials would encourage positive social interactions among the students while encouraging critical thinking skills in their hands-on projects.
