My school is located in a lower economic urban neighborhood with 95% low-income households and 100% of our students receiving free lunch. This is a Title I school.
I am also teaching 10 health classes a week (about 300 students) and 20 physical education classes a week (about 600 students), which means I need more equipment and materials to keep my students engaged in learning.
My students also love physical activity and love to learn about team sports. My school has nine interscholastic sports teams but needs the funding for new equipment because my school district, school and most of our students don't have the funds to purchase this type of equipment for us. So please help support my students. Thank you.
My Project
The resources I am asking for are basic supplies that my school doesn't always have to distribute.. My student’s parents and I don’t always have that extra money to be able to get these needed basic supplies.
These basic supplies will help my students to learn.
These basic materials will help me be able to teach my students better by providing them with pencils, folders, glue, and crayons.
As a Health/Physical Education teacher, I travel to the students classrooms on Mondays and Tuesdays to teach health education. My students usually don’t have the basic supplies for my health class, because they have only brought enough in for their homeroom classes. This is why I would appreciate your help in getting these materials funded. Thank you!
