Help me give my students Clorox disinfecting spray and wipes in order to have a clean classroom. Also, materials such as watercolors, crayons, and craft kits that they will use as rewards for excellent behavior during our monthly Class Dojo parties.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing second graders in a high poverty area.
They are eager to learn and are full of life.
My students are so enthusiastic about doing their work but frequently do not have the materials needed to do so. Often times, they are faced with outside forces that impede their ability to learn effectively.
I strive to make learning fun for my students and I truly enjoy watching them gain a love of learning. My students enjoy learning in various ways including using books and through the use of technology.
My Project
My students are off to a great start during this school year! They have been working on their reading, writing and math. As part of the positive behavior system that is used in the classroom, students earn points on Class Dojo. At the end of each month, they get to cash in their points for prizes and rewards.
What better way to celebrate positive behavior than by having monthly craft parties!
Students love having a special day every month where they can engage in various art projects of their choosing. Having these materials will allow my students to express their creativity on a regular basis. Students will use the painting kits to express their creatvity. They will also use the crayons during their daily reading, writing and math activities.
Also, with the upcoming flu season, it is important to maintain a super clean classroom. My students pride themselves in cleaning their desks on a weekly basis and assisting with other classroom upkeep. Having the Clorox wipes and spray will allow us to continue to maintain a clean and healthy classroom.
